I am a hiker/traveler first, photographer second. I diligently strive to maintain this order of priority. The whole idea behind my photography is to record images of the places to which I travel and hike for future enjoyment. I use the best camera equipment I can afford in order to record those places with as much clarity as possible. I compose images in a way that captures the scene as I am viewing it but I am free to compose in ways that I feel are interesting too.
